WELCOME TO THE MYERS INN

Nestled in the heart of Humboldt Redwoods State Park, the largest redwood forest in the world, the Myers Inn is the centerpiece of the scenic Avenue of the Giants.

Located in the village of Myers Flat, the Myers Inn was once a 1867 stage stop constructed by its namesake, the Myers family. After the death of her husband, Ulysses S. Grant Myers in 1937, Mattie Myers subdivided part of their ranch as a way to grow a more complete community.

FUN FACT!

Many in the Myers family named their children after their personal heroes. Some of these inspiring figures included Teddy Roosevelt and Ulysses S. Grant.

Grant Myers daughter was also named after two states. Nevada California Myers.

In the current day, the Myers Inn is still taking in new visitors, though a few things may have changed since its renovation. This historic, ten-room Inn has been subtly transformed into a new destination for modern travelers, offering a perfect chance to connect with the nature and history of the beautiful Humboldt Redwoods State Park.
